California special education attorney Jennifer Chang has been named to the 2022 Super Lawyers® Rising Stars List.
Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters rating service that identifies a select number of outstanding attorneys in each state as identified by their peers. The selection process for Rising Stars consists of several steps including a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of each candidate, and peer reviews by practice area to identify the top 2.5% of lawyers in each state. The outcome of such a process provides a competent, comprehensive, and inclusive list of excellent attorneys. Candidates who receive the Rising Stars distinction must be under the age of 40 or hold less than 10 years of experience.
The lists are published nationwide in the Super Lawyers® magazines as well in local and regional publications. The magazine also features lawyer profiles of leading attorneys in their respective fields.
An advocate for the rights of children with special needs in the California public school systems, Jennifer has had much success assisting students with disabilities and their families to understand and exercise their legal rights and receive the services they deserve.
