Education rights attorney Jennifer Chang has been selected for inclusion in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 Women of Influence: Attorneys list.

This prestigious recognition honors the exceptional leadership, expertise, and legal contributions of women in the legal profession, as well as their significant impact on the Los Angeles community.

The May 26 publication profiles Jennifer Chang, highlighting her exceptional career protecting the rights of children with special needs in the California public school system and her many contributions to the local Korean community through her legal and educational leadership and advocacy.

In addition to her work as a special education attorney, Jennifer’s practice fosters self-advocacy for the parents of children with disabilities through education, awareness, and support. Since 2016, she has volunteered her time and skills with Training Individuals for Grassroots Education Reform (T.I.G.E.R.) at the Learning Rights Law Center in Los Angeles, where she teaches a course for families in need about special education and self-advocacy within the public education system. The courses are conducted entirely in Korean to help bridge the cultural gap between Korean American families and local school districts.

The Los Angeles Business Journal identifies recipients based on peer nominations, which are reviewed by the editorial department. Award nominees are selected by a panel of judges based on their demonstration of significant success within their respective fields and a proven commitment to philanthropic efforts within the LA community.

Congratulations, Jennifer!
