Jennifer Chang, California special education rights attorney, will be speaking about school district assessments and parents’ right to an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) at StarVista’s Child and Parent Services special needs caretaker support group Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 6:30-8 pm PT.

This virtual support group is held via Zoom and tailored for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. The meeting ID: 845 8436 7156, the passcode: caps.

StarVista’s Child and Parent Services (CAPS) is available to any family with a child 0-18 living in San Mateo, Half Moon Bay, Montara, El Granada, Moss Beach, San Bruno, South San Francisco, and Daly City. The focus of the program is reducing caregiver stress through a strength-based and short-term approach. Services are available in the family’s home or in their community.
